Victor V. Maleev

The content of the activities of Victor Vasilyevich Maleev is a research and diagnostic and treatment work in the clinic of infectious diseases, scientific and organizational work , outbreaks of  dangerous infections in various regions of Russia and in Asia, Africa, Central and South America.

V. V. Maleev carried out the development of clinical and pathogenetic direction of infectious pathology. He created original clinical pathogenetic classification of dehydration in cholera and other acute intestinal infections.

He owns the discovery of patterns of disorders of  blood coagulation system in many infectious diseases and the development of therapy for hemostasis pathology. He investigated the evolution of infectious diseases in terms of technogenic influence, the impact of natural and social factors. V. V. Maleev is the author of more than 350 publications, including 9 monographs. The most important of them are: “Cholera” (1978), “Guidelines for the clinic, diagnosis and treatment of dangerous infectious diseases” (1994), “Etiological diagnosis and etiotropic therapy of acute pneumonia” (1995), “Astrakhan rickettsiosis fever” (1999), “Listeria: role in human infectious pathology and laboratory diagnosis” (2002), “Crimean hemorrhagic fever” (2003), “Shigella and shigellozy” (2003). Has 6 copyright certificates for new methods of diagnosis and treatment.
