Academician of RANE. Evgeny L. Nasonov holds leading positions in the organization of scientific research on rheumatology in Russia. Author of more than 1,000 publications, among them  14 monographs, the National guide to rheumatology. Under his leadership, defended 8 doctoral and 63 master's theses. E. L. Nasonov is the chairman of the scientific council of FGBNY  NIIR of  B. A. Nasonova and Specialized dissertation council, Chairman of the scientific Council for rheumatology and the Ministry of health of Russia, President of the ARR, member of the board of the Moscow city scientific society of therapists, member of the American college of rheumatologists.
