There are no specific diseases. However, doctors often engage in prevention, diagnostics and treating disease arose in a patient in isolation, paying little attention to disease, has transferred by person, as well as comorbidity. Article is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in conjunction with the most common cardiac disease (ishemic heart disease, chronic heart failure, hypertension). Shown that the combination of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with cardiac pathology other may worsen the prognosis for these patients.

We report a prospective analysis of immediate and long-term effects of two coronary angioplasty methods – balloon dilation and stenting – in different working periods of two endovascular laboratories. For the last 10 years the number of stents implanted has grown 30-fold, and stenting is used today in 95% to 97% of coronary angioplasty procedures. The strategy of massive use of stents has improved the immediate outcomes of angioplasty as seen by substantial decrease of the rate of acute myocardial infarction, emergency coronary artery bypass grafting and acute coronary occlusions (from 2.7% after balloon angioplasty to 0.6% after stenting, р = 0.001). Stenting improved the long-term prognosis by decreasing the frequency of cardiovascular events. The 5-year survival rate after stenting was 98.8%, after balloon angioplasty — 92.7% (р = 0.004). However, the rate to angiographically revealed restenosis and the need for repeated myocardium revascularization after stenting (27.1 and 30.4%) decrease less significantly compared to balloon angioplasty (30.1 vs. 34.5%, р = 0.0025).

To assess relation of dysplastic syndromes and phenotypes to pathological QT interval in patients with minor cardiac anomalies, 128 patients aged 18–35 years were examined. A statistically significant increase in the prevalence of QT interval disorder was found. Pathological QT interval without clinical features was observed more frequently. Correlations were revealed between the QT interval disorder and myxomatous mitral valve prolapse, phenotype similar to Marfan syndrome, and benign joints hypermobility.

This article discusses the main modern methods of correction known risk factors for CVC and provides concepts for new risk factors of MD to draw attention to the need for lifestyle changes as a method of prevention and treatment of MD, including metabolic syndrome, and CVC.

Prevention and treatment of primary placental insufficiency is a condition for the preservation and normal duration of pregnancy. An assessment of pregnancy in 197 women with primary placental failure, 89 of whom received progesterone analog and Femibion, was provided. Recommendations for the evaluation of gestation were estimated, the data, allowing usage the specified treatment for the correction of gestational complications, were determined.

The article presents data about features of mineral exchange in girls in puberty period who were born with extreme values of body weight. It is established that girls born with intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) and macrosomy have to be allocated in a risk group for development of disturbances in mineral exchange. This in turn proves the necessity for therapeutic and prophylactic intervention in this group of individuals.

This article presents the pathogenesis of dyslipidemia and associated metabolic disorders with the position of lipid metabolism. The role of natural mechanism of cholesterol homeostasis changing was showed, functional disorders of the enterohepatic circulation of bile acids and intrahepatic cholestasis due to violation of the reticuloendothelial system, entailing disruption of a specific target organ, on the one hand, and the development of atherosclerosis with ischemic syndromes — on the other, were demonstrated. Diagnostic and treatment algorithm is presented.
